English as a Second Language (ESL)
Evening classes are held on Monday through Thursday from 6pm to 9pm in the Education Village at 499 Marguerite St. in Williams. Room C-1. Pre-enrollment is not required, you may sign upon on the night of your first class. These classes are offered free of charge.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) - Info Here

Located at Education Village on Tues & Wed, 6pm-9pm, C-3.

Applications for the 2019-20 will be available soon. Orientation for the next academy will be on November 2, 2019 at 3pm. Wildland Fire Academy is taught by Cal Fire staff.

Inmate Education
This program offers education and vocational training for adult inmates in correctional facilities.   The instruction provided includes: English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Basic Education (ABE), Life Skills, Math and General Educational Development (GED).

This course of instruction is designed to help individuals of limited English proficiency achieve competence in the English language.  The design and delivery of instruction integrate civics education content with ESL instruction as well as a separate civics participation program.  The citizenship portion of this course focuses on literacy skills and utilizes English as a Second Language methodologies as well as other citizenship materials to prepare students to take and pass the USCIS exams.

Congratulations to Jill Wright, our Adult Education CTE Teacher! Jill has been nominated for the California Businessperson of the Year at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio at the end of June. Jill will be receiving an award at the opening session that reads "Adult Education Instructor with the Colusa County Office of Education, Career Technical Education and the Business and Industry Representative on the California FBLA Board of Directors."
