Crystal is quite literally one of the reasons we all get paid correctly each month, hard stop.  For anyone who doesn’t know what the payroll department does in getting you paid, it might behoove you to find out.  Crystal is responsible for meeting multiple deadlines every month, including auditing hours and amounts, working with Human Resources to ensure correct pay rates, submitting reports to the county treasurer, compiling accurate retirement information for STRS and PERS, paying the myriad of required taxes at the correct rates, processing deductions, reconciling computerized payroll output with payroll records, submitting reports to the state and federal governments—this barely scratches the surface, and the list goes on.  Additionally, Crystal does all of this with a fantastic positive attitude, and is willing to help anyone who comes in with questions about their own situation.  Thank you for all that you do for us Crystal!
