Her leadership in bridging our efforts with the wider Colusa County community through the "And Literacy For All" initiative has been wonderful. Rallying elected and appointed officials and leaders of Colusa County to champion our cause, Alissa’s production of a compelling video featuring these leaders has vividly highlighted the indispensable role of literacy in individual and collective success. Alissa's organizational skills have made each event well-coordinated and effectively executed. From the decorations to the logistics of catering and the seamless coordination across communication channels—print media, email, social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and our website—her touch has made each event not just successful but memorable. Yet, what truly sets Alissa apart is her character—her passion, kindness, and commitment. She is a team player who continually praises others for the success of these events.
